Star Energy - Drilling Engineer, Analyst, Production Operator

At Wayang Windu, excess fluid is re-injected into the geothermal reservoirs. Star Energy also participates in the Concessionary Partnership Program in collaboration with other Natuna Sea operators and the Ministry of Marine Parks and Fisheries. The program provides technology, advice and assistance to local communities in the areas of coral transplantation, barrier reef construction, fish restocking and eco-friendly net fishing. As part of a well planned environmental campaign, conducted in conjunction with local environmental agencies, and aimed at school children, MNL is providing materials that tell the ‘green’ story in the local language. The objective is to educate tomorrow’s citizens about the importance of protecting and preserving the natural environment so that they can play an active role in building a better Indonesia in the future. Star Energy currently seeking for highly qualified candidates to fill the following position:

Drilling Engineer
Responsibilities:
  • Designs drilling programs in accordance with the industry recognizes technical criteria and applicable drilling regulations in order to achieve exploration objectives in a safe and cost effective manner.
  • Works with multidisciplinary professionals to evaluate the commercial viability of the well and monitor progress during drilling.
  • Prepares regular well report.
  • Ensures all routine drilling and cost control reports are accurate, complete and timely.
Requirements:
  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree majoring in Engineering (Petroleum or Mechanical), or other related technical educations.
  • At least 8 year(s) of working experience in drilling & work over, develop drilling program and supervise in the well site. Preferable having working experience in OFFSHORE.
  • 1 Full-Time position(s) available.
Analyst
Requirements:
  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree / Post Graduate Degree in Accountancy.
  • At least 5 year(s) of working experience as Auditor in the Accounting Firm. Have working experience in Oil and Gas Industry is an advantage.

Production Operator (OFFSHORE)
Requirements:
  • Candidate must possess at least a Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Engineering.
  • At least 2 year(s) of extensive practical working experience in the Oil and Gas production operations is required for this position. Equivalent years of experience may substitute for education. Having experience in OFFSHORE is an advantage.
  • Preferably Staff (non-management & non-supervisor)s specializing in Engineering - Oil/Gas or equivalent. Job role in Technician/Support or equivalent.
