PT Golden Energy Mines (GEMS) is the holding company of 10 coal concessions across approximately 57,000 hectares in Indonesia, including among others, CCOW Borneo Indobara (BIB) and IUP Kuansing Intimakmur (KIM).GEMS has 1.2 billion tons of JORC resources and over 400 million tons JORC reserves. The mines are located in Riau, Jambi, South Sumatera, Central Kalimantan and South Kalimantan. GEMS also procures coal from external sources to feed large (5 million ton consumption) pulp and paper mills and for exports.

PT Golden Energy Mines production capacity is near 10 million tons in 2011, with actual production in previous years at around 3 million tons. GEMS coal is mainly 4200 kcal/kg (GAR), 4800 kcal/kg (GAR) and 5300 kcal/kg (GAR). Current export markets are to China, India, Thailand, Vietnam and Bangladesh. PT Golden Energy Mines exports coal through coal terminals located in Bunati Sungai Danau (South Kalimantan) and (Teluk Bayur Padang), which have 5 million and 3 million tons capacities respectively. Production is expected to ramp up to 15 million tons by 2014. HRGA Admin Staff
Responsibilities:
  • Organizing business travel, itineraries, and accommodation for managers. Monitoring inventory, office stock and ordering supplies as necessary.
  • Updating & maintain the holiday, absence and training records of staff Office packages
  • Maintaining personnel files
  • Managing employment contracts and related documents
  • Managing and maintaining all personnel administration transactions
  • Implementing the policies & procedures inline with the Company and ensuring that all polices are in agreement
Requirements:
  • Male / Female max age 26 years old
  • Have minimum 2 years experience handling general HR duties, preferably from mining industry
  • Experienced in setting up, coordinating meetings and conferences Involvement in social media implementation.
  • Strong organizational, administrative and analytical skills
  • Local residents of Jambi area
Land Acquisition Officer
Responsibilities:
  • Developing strategies to resolve land access and land use conflicts in line with company policy and standards and maintaining positive company profile and reputation in the conduct of all land acquisition activities.
  • Ensuring proper documentation of all land transactions to provide comprehensive records in line with legal requirements and future asset protections.
  • Plan, communicate and negotiation land compensation requirement with land owners within reasonable price and time frame.
  • Final review upon all supporting document to ensure it has been accurately prepared and completed based on standard operating procedure and regulation.
  • Plan, manage and control problems handling and potential issues handling related with Land acquisition plan and implementation activities (including identify the problems, liaise with company's lawyer/law firm).
Requirements:
  • Min. S1 from reputable university.
  • Min 2 years relevant experience in land compensation and land acquisition in coal mining industries
  • Good track records of delivering quality and targets within established variances.
  • Ability to schedule and complete the assigned tasks.
  • Good knowledge in mining industry and ability to collect and analyze local data for problem solving tools.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within team colleagues.
